"A Competitive, Fun Event To Motivate The Safe
& Efficient Operation Of Powered Industrial Trucks!"

FORMAT
  • Compitition is based on 2-person team participation. each team member is ranked on the basis of his/her individual score and is in the running for the individual championship, TOP GUN, U.S. Open Champion!
  • Each competition "session" commences by means of a shotgun start with two, 2-person teams on each of the FOUR (4) events.
  • The competition is divided into two (2) Divisions "A" makes up Friday's participants and Division "B" Saturday's participants.
  • Team champions will be posted based on the initial competition. The top eight (8) operators complete for the "World"Championship on Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:00 P.M.
  • Awards Ceremony will take place at approximately 4:30 P.M. followed by the First Rodeo Chuck Wagon event.
SKILL
  • Each participant is timed as they traverse the course, time being added for each mistake or error. Individual times are combined to create a team time. Low score (time) wins!
  • Once a team completes the first event they progressively advance to the next event until all FOUR have been completed.
  • KNOWLEDGE

    • Teams are provided a Master Question File (MQF) of 100+ questions (with answers) to study in preparation for the 25 question Rodeo Quiz. All questions on the quiz are taken from the MQF word for word.
    • The quiz is not a pass/fail exercise, but, each correct answer results in a weighted result and a five (5) second deduction in time.

    AWARDS

    • Master's Division/ Previous top three qualifers: Trophy & Cash award.
    • Championship Division/ Top three, Non-Master operators: Master Operator Jacket & Cash Award.
    • "Top Gun": Overall top individual- all comers! Individual Championship Trophy & Cash Award.
    • Team Awards: Championship Trophy / 1st Runner Up Trophy / 2nd Runner Up Trophy.
    This premiere event, having grown from a two-day, Clark County (Ohio) event, to an Ohio Championship and now an International, World class event promoting the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Trucks.
